For the Undress Blue Winter uniform does one wear shoulder boards or collar devices? The Procurement Manual states shoulder boards and the Auxiliary Manual states collar devices.

There is a Winter Dress Blue uniform, where collar devices are worn.  The shirt is the CPO dark blue style shirt. AuxMan Chap 10, G.8. (when supplies of the CPO shirt are exhausted, this uniform will be phased out).

There is Undress Blue - Winter uniform, where collar devices are also worn.  The shirt is the light blue AF epaulet shirt. AuxMan Chap 10, G.10

document Per ALCOAST 223/07, as of 15 July 2007 only embroidered insignia are to be worn on the ODU uniform, not metal. Does this apply to the Auxilary ball cap as well when worn with the ODU (i.e., must embroidered officer or member insignia be sewn on the ball cap, or can metal insignia continue to be worn on it)?
