A member has fallen into REYR status for more than one but less than 5 years. AUXMAN, Pg 8-7, para B.2.g says that the IT in REYR "must perform the annual certification task(s), as a trainee, under the supervision of a certified IT." Annual certification tasks are to teach for 2 hours, be an aide for 4 hours, or teach for 1 hours and be an aide for 2 hours. DIRAUX and National staff members have indicated that the member in REYR must teach (platform presentation) for 2 hours under the supervision of a certified IT. This appears to be at odds with the AUXMAN. What is the criteria that the member must use to get out of REYR status?
The AuxMan is correct.

Based upon the Codes, the answer would be yes, but that determination is made by those authorized to award said award, see AUXMAN Chap 10:
A.10.f....

Will Auxiliary personnel who are performing facility inspections, container inspections, MOM's, or other missions that require entry into secure port facilities need to have TWIC identification? If so, who is responsible for the fee, or is the fee reimbursable through your sector? Are our background checks equivalent to the CBP checks that give the member a lower price for the TWIC?
TWICs are meant for transportation workers...not federal agency reps - we have seen nothing to indicate that Aux or active duty will have to...
